Provision of the overdraft facility is subject to conditions determined by the bank. The client is not automatically entitled to be granted an overdraft facility.

Usually, these are ATMs of non-banking institutions and the extra fee is usually explicitly mentioned to the cardholder on the ATM display to approve it in order to proceed with the withdrawal.
