Do you know that you can search branch offices and ATMs?
Just enter a city or address.
You are unable to change card limits or PIN. However, you can block your card or pay with it.
The shutdown of Equa bank ATMs starts. You can deposit money at cash desks in Raiffeisenbank’s branch offices.
Mobile and internet banking is scheduled for downtime.
You are still able to use your card to pay in traditional stores or online.
From this point on, everything runs as it should. Just launch the online wizard to guide you step by step through the activation of Raiffeisen banking.
As of 14 November, only Raiffeisen banking is available to manage your finance and you need to activate it. When you sign in to your Equa banking for the first time after 14 November, a Wizard automatically starts in the secured environment of your banking to guide you to Raiffeisen banking. Run the activation as soon as you can.
Do not forget about the basic rules:
- Only use www.equabank.cz and www.rb.cz to access your internet banking. Type the address manually in the address bar.
- Do not use any search engine to search for the website.
- Do not sign in via any links sent to you.
TIP: Launch the wizard in Equa bank’s mobile application for a faster and more convenient transfer than in internet banking.
Sign in to your mobile banking and the wizard will guide you step by step through the activation.
Sign in to your internet banking at www.equabank.cz and the wizard will guide you through the entire activation process.
If you already have an account with Raiffeisenbank, sign in to Raiffeisen banking.
After 14 November, you will sign in to the Raiffeisenbank mobile application or internet banking the way you are used to.
Only Raiffeisenbank’s banking will be available to manage your finance after the said date.
You can start using the new bank code 5500 on 14 November 2022. On and after this date, you will see 5500 as the bank code in all your outgoing payments. Both the original bank code 6100 and the new bank code 5500 will be then valid for 6 months. All domestic payments and direct debits directed to the original bank code (6100) will be automatically redirected to your Raiffeisenbank account. This will give you enough time to make any changes which we will be glad to assist you with.
Attention! Please do not make or report any changes in connection with the new bank code before 14 November 2022.
Card payments
After 14 November, the payment card will be functional for the CZK account only. However, you can apply for a free new card in Raiffeisen banking for your foreign currency accounts (the currencies remain on the accounts). The following examples show what options you have.
Honza keeps a EUR account only. Nothing changes for him and he doesn't have to do anything. | Karel holds an account in CZK and USD. After 14 November, he will have a separate account for each currency. Thus, he will apply for a new payment card to his USD account in Raiffeisenbank banking. | Jitka has an account in CZK and USD, but wants to have just one card for both accounts. After 14 November, she activates another currency on her account for 29 CZK per month. |

After 14 November, incoming foreign currency payments must be directed to the account with Raiffeisen banking details (BIC / SWIFT, IBAN). |
