Set limits on your card to keep your finances safe.
Where can I set or change the card limit?
- In Mobile Banking, on the main product overview page, click on the picture of a card and in the Detail tab, click on Card limits.
- In Online Banking, under the CARDS tab choose Card limits.
What limit can I set?
- Weekly card limit for merchant payments (includes both card payments at merchants and online card payments).
- Weekly limit for ATM withdrawals.
TIP
Set your limits according to your normal weekly spending. You can change your limits at any time for free, such as when you pay for a larger purchase than you expected.
The limit is valid Monday through Sunday. The limit you set will automatically reset for the next week.
Why is it good to set a card limit?
Card limit protects your money. If you lose your card, someone steals it, or a fraudster gets your card information, they can't charge more than the weekly limit. But in these situations, don't just rely on the set limit and block the card as soon as possible.
