Activation of the payment card
You will receive a debit card with your current account.
Once the plastic card has been delivered to you, activate it.
The card can be activated:
- online in internet or mobile banking,
- with your first card transaction at a merchant or ATM.
Aktivate your card in mobile banking
On the main page select the card in the product overview and click ACTIVATE.
Activate the card in internet banking
Select the card in the main menu CARDS and click ACTIVATE.
Activate the card with the first transaction
If you are unable to activate your card online, you can also activate your card with your first card transaction at a merchant or by withdrawing cash from an ATM. You need to insert the card into the terminal at the merchant or ATM and enter your PIN.
This also activates contactless payments on the card.
TIP
You don't have to wait for your plastic card to arrive. You can pay with your card as soon as you open an account, just add the card into Google Wallet or Apple Pay and pay with your mobile phone or watch.
